About the Song and Singer
Anna Oxa (born Anna Ilaria Lucia Hoxha, April 28, 1961, in Bari, Italy) is one of Italy's most distinctive and versatile singers. She burst onto the scene at the 1978 Sanremo Music Festival at just 17 years old. Over the decades she has reinvented herself many times, moving through pop, rock, new wave, and dance music. She has won the Sanremo Festival twice — in 1989 with "Ti lascerò" (a duet with Fausto Leali) and in 1999 with "Senza pietà."
"Donna Con Te" (Woman with You) was composed by Danilo Amerio and Luciano Boero, with arrangement by Fio Zanotti. It premiered at the 40th Sanremo Music Festival in 1990.
